Job Description:
  • Mediawire is a PR platform by the Times of India Group. We are a one-stop shop for PR strategies & solutions. Being a part of the largest media conglomerate of India, we bring highly exclusive, personalised, and effective services to our clients.
    The opening is in the Retail Division that focuses on generating revenue in the West Region (mainly Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh).
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Walk-in meetings & connecting with the Local Retail clients within the city
    • Conceptualizing digital sales strategies & solutions to address client/brand requirements.
    • The local retail clients include the local apparel/fashion, clinics, hospitals, auto-dealers, jewellery stores, education, self-funded SME’s etc.
    • Write, develop, and present brand solution proposals and presentations.
    • Pitch, close and manage deals with brand advertisers locally.
    • Stay on top of the trends in a rapidly changing media market and clients’ industries
    • Develop and maintain client relationships
    • Forecast revenue objectives through proper account management
    • Keep senior management informed on all issues and performance against planned goals
    • Use both qualitative and quantitative research to support benefits of brands associating with Mediawire
    • Provide consistent communication with the Operations and Finance team
    • Manage accounts to achieve individual goals as well as the team goal
    • Prospect, cold call, network, and research new customers and potential clients
    • Traveling within the city and other regions will be required

    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in work experience. MBA is considered a plus.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in interactive ad sales/digital agency with a track record of successfully managing client relations, negotiating and closing deals.
    • Must have a strong relationship with agencies and clients locally
    • Skill set must include fluency in solution selling, pricing, brand building, etc.
    • Fluency with online advertising sales, pricing & promotion
    • Have the ability and willingness to prospect, cold call, negotiate, and close deals
